How do you pay your bills?

So, a friend of mine - let's call her Rudy - received an email the other day from a co-worker with the following statement:

"[Company name withheld] offers 30 days free and bills in the rear"

I realize that not everyone is familiar with the word "arrears" (I only learned it about three years ago), but do you think that anyone would ever want to receive their bills that way?
