My, oh my

How fancy am I? After many months, I have finally upgraded the blog with a snazzy new header and new layout. Thanks to Ross for helping me photoshop the image. The picture was taken in July at Eric’s father’s lake in Illinois. We were bass fishing on a bright summer day. I use the phrase “fishing” loosely – we probably could have caught fish using our shoes.

As for the phrase “Warm up the pan”, I have my friend Gleason to thank for that keeper. It was first uttered late one night senior year after belligerent (i.e. drunken) demands for grilled cheese sandwiches (shockingly, not by me). And it’s been a part of my life ever since.

So, the look may be new, but the blog will remain the same. More ramblings, more recipes, more pictures of our cat.
